Hello World!
This is my problem:
I have an MS-Access 2000 using user-level security on NT machines over a network. Everything works fine and backup is daily. Both .mdb and .mdw files reside on a Windows 2000 server. Now I have a new user with Windows XP. They also installed Office XP. So I requested to remove Office XP and install Office 2000 keeping Windows XP. Although that particular user has the appropriate access rights on server folder path plus rights for using the .mdb (here comes the problem) when joinnig the .mdw -->Access Denied and that's it!
I tried and succesfully opened the .mdw from his access installation (as it is a database) and double checked rights on server folder (full path)
Any thoughts? Is it Windows XP or Office XP previously installed?
Thanks in advance.
