Join Exchange 2000 in Exchange 5.5. site

Hello,

I have a question about joining a exchange 2000 server in an existing exchange 5.5 organisation.

One domain
Exchange 2000 is installed on a DC en exchange 5.5. is on a nt backup domain controller in de same domain.
During the installation there are noproblems
When i open de system manager (exchange 2000) on the DC the exchange 5.5 server is gray.

What is the problem ?
