Hi, This is my first week in charge of many backups. Tonight my weekly tapes run. They are setup to backup thus

I have been forewarned that some of tonights (wed) backup take longer than 24 hrs to complete. The previous backup admin was cancelling the jobs after about 20 hrs so he could be ready for the thu job. I feel there must be a better way of doing this even if it means a full backup on wednesay, and then no incremental until friday.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
