Jobs keeps getting queued & tape loader goes off-line

I have serveral backup jobs scheduled to disk folders and they work fine - (BE10.1d)

I have a problem with backup to tape though.

The backups is to tape, directly attached via SCSI to the host where the data is stored.

Occasionally I have a need to 'Run now' a job, every now again when I try this the job just gets queued and never starts - what am I doing wrong?

I have tried deleting the policy, recreating with run now as a policy option and it still does it.

Rebooted the media server and ran the job and it now works fine - this has happened a few times before and I have no idea why it happens.

I've just ran a full disk to tape dump and it appears the job completed, but as soon as the job is finished the tapeloader (Quantum Superloader3 LTO3) goes off-line - why would this be?
