Job Title

I am currently listed as a Computer Application Specialist within our organization. I am going to begin training to become a DBA on top of my current position. Our company pays based on recognized Job titles. Is there one that would incorporate both positions or if not does anyone have any suggestions on a title.

Klewis,
You'll find that most DBA's also act as Computer Application Specialist. We must not only know and install databases but the applications that run on them. SQL Server magazine did a pay scale survey not to long ago. I believe you will find that DBA's make more that Application Specialist.
