Job staying queue

Hi all,

I need some help...
I've been configured additional media server, when i tried to backup to storage unit (disk base/ local disk) run well, but when i tried to backing up to storage unit (tape base) the job staying queue

you have to stop/start the master server netbackup processes

Just because the Veritas documentation states a certain thing does not make it a fact

yep, the scheduler needs to pick up the new storage unit.

You could try this:

...\Program Files\VERITAS\NetBackup\bin\admincmd\bpschedreq.exe -read_stu_config

It will re-read the storage units and should pick up the new storage unit without stoping and restarting.
