Job status stays at loading media

Whenever a I start a job the status just stays at "loading media." I recently replaced the tape drive, I have the newest Veritas driver and the updated firmware. Has anyone encountered this problem, or know a fix to it?

Win 2k Server, Veritas 9.1, Benchmark VLT Tape drive.
