Job Status shuts arcserve down 2

Does anyone have any ideas on why Arcserve 2000 running on
Windows 2000 closes every time I click on "Job Status"? I have deleted the .QSD directory inside Arcserve and recreated the backup job but it still does the same thing. I would prefer not to re-install Arcserve if possible.

Which "Job Status" ? On the AS2K Manager there is
"Manager | Job Status"
and there is the
"Job Status "
drop down menu.

Have you installed AS2K SP2 ? I haven't had that problem with W2K SP1 and SP2 and AS2K w/ SP2

Sorry for the delay in getting back. The problem lies in both methods of accessing the job status. The only way i can access the job is to logon to another server running arcserve and access the problem one that way.

PS: we are fairly new to arcserve and already we don't like it much.

I had a similar situation and deleted the specific all the .job files and recreate them in order for it to work properly
