All of a sudden backup exec will not successfully back up our exchange server. The job status comes up as pending and will do so until the job is aborted. All new jobs are doing this too. We have had this problem before and it just stopped doing it one day and began backing up our files again. Any help is appreciated!

Need more info. Are you getting any Event Viewer alerts with event IDs of 7, 9, 11 or 15? Those are hardware related errors dealing with SCSI issues.
Also, hardware changes can cause this. Check Event Viewer and read the job log.

There are no alerts in the event viewer. We have not changed any software or hardware anywhere. It just started doing this 2 weeks ago. It will read "pending" under job status and count down for as long as you let it until the job is aborted. I have tried to create new jobs and they do just the same. It does not show any information under the log file since the status stays pending as well. Thanks for any help.
