Job rate for BE 9.1

I'm getting 230 MB/Min over the network.
Drive is Sony AIT4. 7 hours to do full backup of 100 GB.
Is this normal?

Have you tested a local backup of the media server itself?

If this is faster would that point you to troubleshoot network performance? Have you tried file copies to and from the media server and remote servers?

I'm new to BE and is just trying to determine what is exceptable backup speed for BE 9.1 to tape drive. After getting some feedback i can then troubleshoot the issues.
This mornings backup speed was at 150 MB/Min. I have read somewhere that anything above 100 MB/Min is fine.

Local backup also give me around 225 MB/Min. I have seen BE 12 running at 1600 MB/Min doing local backup to tape drive.
