Job Queued - Problems just never stops

I am trying to run my daily backup job. Suddenly I have a problem doing so. First the server was paused, fixed that. Now it's going as far as doing the "Virus check" and then the status of the job changes to "queued" in the activity monitor. I open the job log and I can see that it has done the "virus check". Can anyone please give some advice?? You don't need eyes to see just a vision.
 
In addition to job settings, your install also has Options. Options determine things like overwrite protection, ejecting the tape and yes virus scanning. I believe that there is a global options and also job options that can be changed.

So, I suggest checking your options and disabling virus scanning. However, usually "queued" means it is waiting on something, like a job waiting for another job to finish, a tape not being available/mounted.
