Job outstanding

I have an NT 4 server running Backup Exec 8.0. It is scheduled to backup every day of the week at 10:01 PM. It is not running since one week. There was no failed error, aborted, successful, or any other type of indication as to what happened. It just lists today as the next scheduled job. The tape was ready, I changed it myself yesterday. There were also no errors in the NT event log indicating why this job was skipped. In other words on the job monitor view, it lists 8/14 as succesfull, then outstanding for 8/15. When I cancel this job it schedules the next one. When I come back next day the monitor view lists again "outstanding". I also tried to backup files immediately. But the same happens.
