Job Master (What is?) (How can I program it usign Datastage 6.01)

Hi,

I would like to know some information about the Job Master

1.- What is?
2.- How can I program it usign Datastage 6.01

Basically I need to run some ETL proccess usign a Job Master. I understand that it is a proccess to run differents kinds of job usign priorities. I need to send an email when my ETL proccess finish. I need documentation or some help to realize how to build this kind of job usign Datastage 6.0.1.

Any third party scheduling tool, such as JobMaster, calls a DataStage job via a script that runs the dsjob program. Have a look at the Server Job Developers Guide for the section "Command Line Interface". It provides the documentation for running DataStage jobs from the command line or from a 3rd party tool or via a script. It also has the reporting command line options such as generating a job report or retrieving the job status.

The email can be sent from the scheduling tool or from the calling script or from a DataStage Sequence job.
