I would like to use the Job Log to extract Data, we backup over 500 NT Servers nightly, and the backup log information is very important. I know I could strip the data from the Job Logs, but I would rather have a DBF file to extract this data from. There is a web site from veritas they say I can Export my data from Backup EXEC to either Crystal Report format or Word for Windows, I have followed their notes very well and can not find the answer, I have a support ticket open to find the answer, I am running Ver 7.0. Please Help, below their info from the web site posted.
Backup Exec Report Export Operation
After generating a Backup Exec Report from the Reports view in the client, if you select the Export icon from the toolbar you may see an empty dialog. Click in the center of the dialog to display the hidden drop-down list boxes. CRYSTAL Reports and Word for Windows are the only export filters that have been tested with Backup Exec. Other export filters may not be compatible with Backup Exec.
