Hi all,
I need some help with the Veritas software version 9.
Well, we had installed it on one of our servers running Windows 2000 server. Everything was running OK except for the blue screen that we were getting. We later realized that the server didn't have enough RAM for Veritas, it has less than 256MB. We decided to do the backup from another server running Windows 2000 Advanced server but unfortunately we have never succeeded in doing a backup since the job stays in the queued status forever. I have searched for help but have not succeeded. I have done reinstallations, making sure that the media server is enabled and that the tape drive is also enabled. Everything is OK when I run the Windows Backup utility so I am certain that the problem is something to do with Veritas. Is there a utility I need to run for me to comfortably run this version of Veritas on Windows 2000 Advanced server? Better still, is there another version I can run?
Thanking you,
Julia
