Job hang-up @ 99%

Hi,

I have inst. ARCServe 2000 Advance Edition on a Windows NT 4.0 Server (SP6).

My problem:

The job run fine, up to write the data in database the job hang-up ( @ 99% ).
And the database-process want to stop but it stop complete firts after a reboot!

I hope someone is able to help me!!!

HI,

This is due to a corrupt ARCServe database...

Stop the DB engine...

DElete the r*.* file in the ARCserve\database folder
delete all the files under ARCServe\temp folder..

restart the DB engine..
run a backup... if it fails again...

u migh have to initialize the DB.
