I am consistently having differential jobs fail and cannot seem to find anything in the log that would cause a failure.  I can restore from the tapes with no problem.  Any information that you can provide on reasons for BackupExec labeling the job as failed is greatly appreciated.

Does it say it skipped files in the log? If it does it could mean you need to update your virus definitions, scan your drives and then backup again.  Sorry if this wasn't much help.

Another thing you may want to look at is to see if there are any corrupt files listed.  Check out Technote#193940 on the Veritas technical website.
