Job Engine will not start

I will start by saying I do not know much about this product. It was installed before I came and there are no people in the company that know anything about it.

Now .. We have ARCServe 2000. It has been working smoothly (for the most part) for over a year now. Monday it decided to have Job Engine problems. When I start Arc Serve manager it says "Timeout while starting Job Engine". If I look in the logs there is the following error "E12002 <3NUW> ARCServe <Error opening lic98.err"

I can not start my job engine because of this. I am not sure why it stopped .. but I need to get it fixed .... Any suggestions ??

In version 11.X, go under Help, about brightstor arcserve backup, license. Choose the module and pop in the new key.
