Hi,
I have created a simple SIP stress test tool, based on JAIN-SIP (reference implementation) and JMF.
The tool works fine, but the performance is very poor.
I can only generate 5 calls per second. The hardware used is Pentium 2GHz with 512MB.
I have optimized the application code, so there are no application level performance issues.
Does anyone know what is the performance of the JMF framework - how many audio transmitters can be realized per second and how many concurrent audio transmitters can work correctly?
