I have 2 Domains on seperate subnets. I need to join the two domains on seperate subnets. The only stip is I need to limit traffic allowing only traffic from domain1 to domain2. Domain2 cannot get back to domain1. Both Domains have a switch and server. I will be joining the domains via CAT5e.
I was told to use a Cisco Router 2611XM with 2 10/100 etherports.
Then someone told me that the processor in the router will not allow for true 100 mb traffic anyway.

Any suggetions.

WEll tht is a fairly easy setup. You will need to implement access lists so that Domain 2 cannot get to Domain 1, but Domain 1 can get to Domain 2. Also, the 2611XM only has 2 10BaseT ethernet ports. If you want 2 10/100 BaseT prots then look into the 2621,2651, or 2691. Let us know if you need any more help...
