Hi,

I would like to slice an image into several hundred jigsaw puzzle pieces and have each piece save in a seperate file automatically. Does anyone have any idea on how to do this with Fireworks or any other software.

If this is not possible, is it possible to slice the image using a grid. Similar to saving slices through guides, but the guides have to be automatically set?

Thanks!

Use the polygon slice tool. Have fun, afew hundred will take you a loooong time.

but how are you going to lay them out -- if it is for the web -- the the shapes are not rectangular -- that will be a headache the size of texas -- you would have to use shockwave or the like for this to work (flash will work too) but images in a website have height and width proportions and are ALWAYS square.
