Jetdirect 175x and HP 990c Printer Configuration

I have a Jetdirect 175x external print server and a HP 990c color printer. I need to connect these to my AIX network. How do I configure BOOTP to load the print server? Where can I get drivers for this printer for AIX? How do I load them once I have found them?

I don't think you will have much luck getting the color printer to print It is a bubble jet or desk jet right? Not a color laser? ....it will have
to emulate one of the following printers. These are the only drivers in 4.3. for
printers.......

There are two ways to do printers...bootp and non boot p. See the site for instructions on setting up network printer


If it emulates something, you have a fighting chance....also I find it easier without bootp....but you can read the two docs
