I get the following error when trying to add printer using jetadmin

!! No response from overpayments !!
... (trying to ping overpayments)

The HP JetAdmin utility can ping the device. The problem may be:
* incorrect GET community name!
* it is not a network printer!
· other.

The printer is an hp4000 series it can be ping’d from the command line. You can carry on and add the printer but When sending it a print the job is just held in the output queue. What does the * incorrect GET community name! Mean.
Thanks in advance

Thanks for the response.
Overpayments is the name of the printer and it's ip is in the hosts file. I can ping it from the command line that's what so strange.

telnet into the printer. then enable SNMP. then see if you can print.
