I have a new Windows 2003 server. I want people to be able to print through this server. I have installed JetAdmin 3.42 (as I would do with a 2000 server) so I am able to select a HPJetDirect port when adding the printer. This works fine but for some reason I can't discover my HP Printers. I have tried adding the printer by selecting from a list (no results) and by defining the IP address but it tells it can't be found?

Does anyone have any ideas? Is JetAdmin 3.42 ok with Windows 2003 Server? Is my problem infact a networking issue? I can ping the printer from the server ok.

Thanks in advance.

Gavin.

Where do I find these settings? Normally with Windows 2000 server I would simply install JetAdmin and thats it, no further configuration is required.

Here's a link to HP Web Jetadmin v7.8 - Microsoft Windows Server 2003:

Thankyou very much Sweg - problem is now resolved!
