Jet Driver

I am using a Jetdirect 170x print server to connect an HP 720c printer to the network. Installation goes fine and no errors are given. But when I send something to print, it only prints 1/2 a page and then just stops.

The printer works fine when connected directly to a PC, but doesnt want to print with the Print Server...

Any ideas...?

the 722 is a win printer that can be it they are a little bug when removed form windows gunthnp

I'll agree with Gunth; I have several of the 170's on hand right now and it states on the box that the 710's and 720's are not supported, along with the 1000's. Again, it's because they are Windows-based printers that really need that direct parallel link to work, though you may find success in tying one directly to a PC and then sharing the driver.
