Jdev and Java Script

Hello,

I have just started developing a web application in Jdeveloper 9.0.3. I like all the nice code generation fautures, but does jdev generate java script validation code for required fields?

PS: I see a lot of similarities in features with .net.
Who copied who? MS copied oracle or vice versa?

Java is much older than .net (that I suppose still doesn't exist ). As for JDeveloper, it was initially licensed from Borland JBuilder.

Check out JDeveloper 10g preview that you can get from OTN.oracle.com and you can get javascript aware editor as well.
