I read the FAQ with the JDBC DNS Access connection.

I'm curious if anyone been successfull with JDBC connection to MS Access w/o DNS ?

If so can you post a snippet or two?

You would need a third party driver to do this. When using the ever popular JDBC-ODBC Bridge Driver your only choice is to use a DSN. We have had situations that required a non-DSN solution (namely user uploading Access DBs). We ended buying a Driver package from a small German Company, if I can find the info on them then I will post it. Licenses only cost us a few hundred dollars.
