Okay, I am a "hungry" contractor who has worked with Crystal for 4 years now. There is a job opening out there for JD Edwards experience that I do not have. Can someone tell me what the difference is working with JD Edwards and Crystal reports (8.5 & 9) I have worked with Access, Oracle, Lawson & Mas 90 as well as other retail databases and not sure if there is a significant difference. I need to formulate a selling point for why this recruiter should submitt me for this job as I know its not that difficult to learn a new database. I also do not have experience with version 9. What are the basic differences? Terri

You have already stated your selling point "I have worked with Access, Oracle, Lawson & Mas 90 as well as other retail databases" and "I know its not that difficult to learn a new database".

CR v9 is not that different from 8.5, you will pick it up right away.

If the recruiter is too dim witted to see through these issues, go to another recruiter. Software Sales, Training, Implementation and Support for Exact Macola, eSynergy, and Crystal Reports
