JCL & Cardlibs

I'm a newbie to COBOL. I was wondering if anyone could point me to a good reference. In particular JCL and cardlibs. I'm attempting to add a new cardlib to an existing JCL to execute a query. Any information would be very helpful!!

I'm not sure what exactly you want here or whether it is Cobol, so maybe you could clarify.

I'm assuming you have an existing job (piece of JCL) that runs a program. Is this a Cobol program? Are you trying to add a new input to this Cobol program? If so, what is this input, is it data or an SQL query?

Sorry for the questions, but am not sure what you are after.
