JBuilder - MenuBar opening a notepad file from menu

Hi can anyone help?
I'm having a simple problem, what I need to do is open a notepad file app.txt from the file bar - I have a new menu item called "open" and need to write a bit of code to open the notepad file through the action performed method.

any help would be great.

Hm.
Probably a ms-notepad-2004 file.
Which is the only correct name for a '.txt'-file.
