Javascript Pop-up problems...

Hey, hopefully someone can help me.. Ok Everytime I visit a website or click a link that has a javascript pop-ups they never pop up and at the bottom of IE it says error on page...I've downloaded the lastest version of IE and still not working.. any suggestions? If this helps my OS is ME.

No i'm not running any pop up blockers or anything that will stop me from getting popups.. if i'm surfing sites i get regular pop ups but just don't get ones that use javascript.

i get several.... unterminated string constant, syntax error, and unexpected...

then it is defenitely a javascript code problem and not the browser problem...

and these websites that u talk about- can u give mne examples?

ok for example the site playsite.com when i try to access a game and a pop up window is suppose to come up it doesn't. and when i mouse over the link it says javascript: void popup "url"

well the popu works for me (i tried chess). what version of IE do u use? mine is IE6.
