I'm trying to get my site to work so that when the user changes their selection on the provided drop down list, their change is reflected on my mysql database. I know a decent amount of php and html but I haven't delved into Javascript as of yet. If anyone can give me a hand I'd appreciate it.

So basically: I have a <select> drop down list in a table on my site. I want to be able to update the database using a script for 'onchange'. Thanks in advance.

What language your website is written in? You still may need a post method to update data in your database, it would be a hard task (I believe) to update database directly using JavaScript only, though perhaps possible.
