Javascript Layering Problem

I have a few javascript based popup date-pickers, as well as a javascript cascading menu.

The problem I am having is when I implement either a menu, or a popup calendar and the form has a dropdown control on it, the menu or calander appears beneath the dripdown list..

If there is a textbox on the form, the menu or calendar will appear on top of it as it should...

Is there any code to make the menu or calendar appear on top of the dropdown?
