Javascript for enter key similar to .onclick?

I must be missing something incredibly simple. I'm work through a javascript textbook, and see all the stuff for .onclick as an event handler. Ummmmmm, this enable javascript with the left mouse button. Does this event handler also work for just hitting the enter key, or is there another event handler that enables both the enter key and left mouse button click?

I'd use 'onkeypress' to detect the Enter key (the keyCode is 13).
