how do you explain that ? CAN even someone explain that ?? :
* the servers are netscape3.6 and cf 4.0.1
* for ALL the clients, the browser is ie4.0
* on almost every client, the window.open() function works fine
* but ... on **some** clients, ie just stays stuck and doesn't do anything anymore and the only thing to do is to kill the process

--> i think it depends on the browser settings - could there be any other reason ? as it's the SAME browser and the SAME files and the SAME server, the functions are supposed to run the SAME way, right ??

can anyone hellllp pliz !!
In IE4 there's a browser setting regarding opening new windows in a separate process. This is handled automatically in IE5. Perhaps this has something to do with your problem?
nick bulka

<a href=
Get your technical books at Bulka's Books
i've turned that option off but it didn't seem to do anything more ... i've turned on or off a lot of option and it appears that it was either the 'visit counter' (sorry i don't have the option names in english) or ... the proxy, even if now i've turned it back on and it still works ...
that was a realllllly weird bug but it seem to b fixed ...

thanx nickbula !
