Using javascript is it possible to execute commands on the server?


I think the answer is "No", does the answer change to "Yes" if I use server side javascript?


We are on HP-UX, Iplanet Enterprise.

If you use serverside Javascript then the answer is yes. Otherwise the answer is no.

I've used Javascript serverside on IIS and Tomcat before (for various reasons).
