I am trying to create a web based project management application that mimics MS Project but with a lot less functionality. The reason being is that each task will be stored in a relational database and used in a workflow application as well.

I want to develop a page that looks a bit like a timeline in MS Project but you can add/delete rows to the timeline without having to go back and forth to the server or have to re-display the page each time you want to add a row.

I am hoping someone out there can tell me if this has been done or could point me in the right direction.

Any help would be much appreciated,

Thanks

Peter
