At this site, there is a tutorial that runs through a few demonstrations regarding JMF. They use a command line to compile, pass arguments through, and run the applications using a command line. I was wondering how you would successfully run the MediaPlayerFrame demo from within Eclipse or NetBeans. Also, how and where you would specify the video file to be played.

You could also check the JMF forum here. It's not very active, but maybe you can find more examples.
