Java script to clear cache/history/temp files

Is there a java script I can put on a page so when a user clicks a button or link, it will clear out their cache or temporary files or history from IE? Thanx.

yes but it's using a security hole of ie5 and something - hopefully most of the users must have patched their explorer ... so the answer to you is basically : no, unless you want to use hacking techniques, but 1- i won't give you any in the TT forums !!!!! and 2- if the user has patched his/her browser you can't anymore

furthermore, as a user, i'd HATE a site that would clear files on my machine !!!!!!!!

I AGREE iza! If I found a web page was messing with my files I send them a scathing email message and never go back there again!
