I am very, VERY new to Java, and I was wondering if anyone could provide me with sites that have java scripts that are available for public use, so i could learn from them and eventually make my own

I wanted to use these scripts for my web page

thanks in advance

I'd start, not with scripts to learn from (as many people abuse the language and don't write proper code- you'd be behind before you even started), but a basic tutorial... I really like the ones at <A HREF=" TARGET="_new"> .
Liam Morley
lmorley@wpi.edu
<a href=] :: imotic :: website :: [
"light the deep, and bring silence to the world.
light the world, and bring depth to the silence.

Thanks for asking! My JavaScript Corral site, <A HREF=" TARGET="_new"> , has a free 14-lesson Beginning JavaScript tutorial and many free scripts. My featured scripts are pop-up windows, weather forecasts and news headlines. I started JavaScript Corral 2 years ago and update it often.

crays,

your tutorial page was very hard to find (much easier if I was starting at crays.com, the only way I found it), so I'll include a link to that if anybody's interested [ <A HREF=" TARGET="_new"> ].
Liam Morley
lmorley@wpi.edu
<a href=] :: imotic :: website :: [
"light the deep, and bring silence to the world.
