Java or VB.Net?

Hi All

Could someone suggest a website that would give me a good comparison between Java and VB.NET. Cause we are in the process of developing a web application and need to make a decision between the two. We will be using Oracle database on an UNIX server. Any help would be much appreciated.

As far as I know...NO.
.NET technology allow multiple programming languages
c#,VB.NET,ASP.NET on a single platform.
Java is a single programming language running on various platform.That is the critical point.(Just the reverse).
