Java or VB.NET?

Hi All

Could someone suggest a website that would give me a good comparison between Java and VB.NET. Cause we are in the process of developing a web application and I need to give some input. We will be using Oracle database on an UNIX server. Any help would be much appreciated.

If your webserver is on the Unix server then you will need to go with Java. Only microsoft products support .NET.
