This might be a really dumb question...

Can I use .jar files while using J#?

If yes,

Can I use a .jar files with C#?
 
Jar files are pretty standard-fare zip compressed libraries if memory serves me. Check out the java.util.zip namespace in J#. You can use that same library in C#, but I think the open-source #zip implementation is better (no sbyte arrays to deal with).
