Hi folks,

I have a script that is looking for a Java Interpreter on my Solaris 8 system. The script is unable to find the Interpreter because it's not defined in my $PATH. My question is, does Solaris 8 come with a JRE? If so where can I find it?

Thanks,

StickyBit.

Try "java -version"

If no luck do a "find / -name java" and see if it lists it.

If nothing is listed you will need to download and install from the link provided by dobbyn above. IBM Certified Confused - MQSeries
