Java exception when attempting to connect to PDM 1

Hi,

We have a PIX 515E running IOS 6.3 and PDM 3.0. When I attempt to connect to the device from my browser (IE 7, Java 1.5), I get the following exception:

java.security.AccessControlException: access denied (java.util.PropertyPermission java.version read)

Has anyone encountered this error in a similar environment? Anyone familiar with the error code?

I have had a few problems with this. Try using IE6 and download the old MS-java and put that on.
PIX 7x you need to use Sun java. I am not sure what IE7 uses.

Just tested with IE6 on an XP sp2 PC and still does not work.

Do you think this is more related to an issue with Java or the client PC?

Did you download the old MS Java package? IE6 by default doesn't not use it.
