i have a user that is getting a java error on one particular secure site

Javascript error

Url:
Line: 0
Message: Uncaught exception. Permission denied to get property window.highlighted tab

they have the latest Java updates, and they cleared out their cache, cookies, history but still get the error. any ideas

thanks as always.

Javascript (not at ALL the same as Java) errors are almost always the cause of code errors on the webpage itself, not the browser. If you're the site designer or the one who maintains the site, then post the relevant code (not the whole page) in

forum216

Otherwise, there's nothing you can do about it as long as your user has the latest version of the browser they're using.

Actually you can disable the script debugging in IE. Go to Tools/Internet Options/Advanced Tab/Under browsing subtitle uncheck "Display a notification about every script error". There are two other debugging things there you can check/uncheck too. I believe you can do this with Firefox too but I'm unsure of the location.
