Hi,
I am looking into Java Certification. I have basic knowledge of programming C/C++ but haven't worked a lot with it. I wonder how much time comsuming to pursue this certification idea. If you have passed this, how and how much time per day that you have spent to get this certificate and what book I should get for studying.
Thank you very much,

GH

hi,
iam in the same situation starting to learn java .but i know i few books that can be helpful
1.java: how to program -5th edition
2.thinking in Java by Bruce Eckel.
hope it helps

if u have any information do share

Thinking In Java is a great resource, and in fact it's available free from . The downside is that a number of the examples have errata-- check the web site. After being stumped for a while on understanding an example, it's annoying to discover it's been errataed almost a year ago! Also recommend the Java Certification books.
