Java? causing IE 6.0 Crash

Hey, I am having a problem with what I believe is my Java Program (Sun). Everytime time I open a website that uses java it instantly closes all my browsers. I have XP, IE 6.0, Dell, Pentium 4, 512 MB of RAM. Any suggestions?

Open IE, Tools, Internet Options, Advanced, and untick the box to use the JIT Compiler for Virtual Machine.

I tried that but it still didn't work. Any other ideas?

Reinstall Sun Java.

You might first want to use some Java test sites:

http://www.bodo.com/javame.htm

It is a silly test, but it does test you capabilities.
(Warning....it is a little slow to start)
