I need to have my java servlet call a PERL script. I want to pass 2 variables to that PERL script and get the return value. I've been reading and still have not seen how to do this. Any help or pushes in the right direction will be appreciated.

Maybe someone else here knows the answer ..... ?

it should be quite simple using the URL class to call the perl script as a url? I am doing that for PHP and havent had any problems.

I tried all net resources but no output. I need a code for it.
I need to call this perl script like this:
$ /opt/bin/perl
symlink/readme.txt
STOP

This above code is working fine on unix commandline. But I need the same thing to be put into JSP or Java class.
