Java Applet Hangs momentarily!

Hi All,

I'm in this very awkward situation...I'm loading my applet on IE 6 ... and once it is loaded and i click on the applet the Browser hangs for about ...30sec min .. but the background process still continue to work! Mozilla Firefox works great..so i was assuming that IE had some sort of bug!

What oyu think?

Do you have the same version of Java associated to both browsers?.

yeah both are working on the same Java version. Even the compiled version is the same!

Maybe it has something to do with the new security patch por ActiveX and applets, the "Click here to activate this control" issue.

hmm.. i had to play around abit to get "rid" of that activex ... but then i tested it without that and it still freaks out!

any other hinch would be appreciated!
